Children's pictures behind the wire

Rod Cox has initiated a cultural and educational exchange in Gaza which is really taking off. He has met with the Ministry of Education there – they are supporting an exchange of children's pictures between Gazan schoolchildren and schoolchildren in the U.K. There are already schools in Cheshire England ready to exchange. Health authorities in Gaza say it is really important for children's mental health that they maintain positive contact with the rest of the world and that this project will help them. The children have not only painted pictures themselves, but Rod's van is now graffittied with their efforts.

There's only one problem. Rod has been denied exit at the Egyptian border. This appears to be due to an old arrangement that was made with the Egyptian authorities and the convoy. Please can you publicise this situation, comment on Rod's blog for support and find a way to get the pictures and the van here. This might mean telling your contacts about the project, telling your M.P. Having a meeting....ideas?
