A 'great day' in Morocco
The convoy is now resting - and what a well-deserved rest - in the
Moroccan capital of Rabat.
George Galloway has sent texts which say:
"A great day. Local kids gave us Moroccoan flags with messages
for Palestinian children. We've had meals with the locals in Rabat.
People have been donating money in the street."
The convoy has been getting some very positive media coverage in
Morocco.
Back at in Britain, the Viva Palestina team have been receiving
messages of support from across the
world - from Nigeria to France, Canada and the USA to Austria, Norway
and countries of the Middle East
We recieved this message this evening from Morocco.
"Hi. What is actually amazing is what the convoy has undertaken
to do. Please let Mr. George Gallaway know how much we admire his
initiative. Our fellow country people cannot but see, in this action,
some real embodiment of the great values of bravery, heroism and
humanitarianism - and hailing the convoy on its arrival in our country
the way Mr. Gallaway's text describes, is the least our people can
do to express their deep respect and gratitude for such an initiative.

Our online appeal for further donations
for the convoy is now a third of it's way to it's £50,000
target. Thank you to all who have donated. But please continue to
tell your friends, family and workmates about the convoy and ask
them to support this historic effort to raise the issue of Palestinian
solidarity across the globe. In four days we've had 40,000 visitors
to our website - which is amazing - but it does mean that there
are still millions who do not know about us. So please forward our
messages to your address book and ask your friends to sign up for
our email alerts.
Apologies: We had hoped to bring you more information from the convoy
as it made it's way through Europe. Unfortunately the speed of the
journey has made uploading images rather more complicated than we
had expected. We will try and give you as much imformation as we
